The Best Street Art in NYC

Some of the best street art in the world is scattered throughout New York City. Many talented artists use the street as their canvas, freely sharing their work, and enlivening public spaces with their imaginative creations.

DwellingsNYC took photos of some of the best street art in New York City, including work from some of the top New York-based street artists– Dain, Dee Dee, Bradley Theodore and Emerson Cooper.

Dain

Dain is one of New York’s most influential street artists. His distinct creations are instantly recognizable with his captivating style of combining collaged old portraits of glamor stars with paint and printed fragments.

Some of Dain’s best work can be seen at the Fat Free Art gallery at 102 Allen Street in the Lower East Side of NYC. This must-see show runs until Jan 09, 2017.

Dee Dee

Dee Dee is one of the most talented, intriguing and elusive street artists in New York.

Dee Dee’s work can oftentimes be found next to Dain’s on the street. Their art together is an amazing combination.

Bradley Theodore

New York-based Bradley Theodore has an unmistakable style with his bright colors and iconic skeletal formed subjects such as Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld and Kate Moss.

Emerson Cooper

Emerson Cooper creates mixed-media collages with Victorian-era portraits and intricate detailing of geometric shapes, numbers and thread.
